After October 7th I said it's coming, frankly I'm surprised it's taken this long. But you would imagine Israel would believe they've got it just about wrapped up on Southern border before moving up to the north which likely means it goes to Iran eventually. Brutally unbearable situation is about to get worse. Shudder to think what that looks like.
That's surprisingly poor wording that equates the north of Israel to the West Bank. I understand it's contested, but it's perceived by Israel every bit as Israeli as Tel Aviv or Ashdod. It's the same area that's been evacuated since the start if this war because of the Hezbollah threat.
It’s the official and technical wording. It’s also how it’s referred to in the media due to its status in international law. My wording does not reflect any sort of political statement on the matter.
Official according to who? The US officially recognizes Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
I understand that there is no political statement meant here - but it is one. No matter which wording you choose, it's a political stand, in either direction.
If you want to be truly neutral, leave out any inference of it - Golan Heights would be enough.

I suspect we’ll see a lot more details in the coming days.
"Israel occupied Golan Heights"?
