Excellent stuff as always Preston. I personally don’t care for the debates as I think they are all just goat and pony shows but nonetheless, they are important in seeing where a particular candidate stands on a certain issue.

The one that I’m most curious about is how they plan to manage the border crisis and the cartels (not all the cartels are from Mexico.) What I find interesting is that they talk a lot about using special operations and drones in Mexico but Mexico doesn’t seem interested in allowing us to do that so I would be curious to see how that works?

I don’t necessarily disagree that using special operations forces is probably the best way to deal with that threat but without the support of the Mexican government, I can’t see that playing out very well for us.

Honestly I'm a little confused on the military to Mexico discussion as well. It's hard to see a scenario where that plays out well. I mean I get the desire to strike some of these drug operations but the whole situation is so much more complex than sending a few Reapers south of the border.

My gut feeling is that it's a way for the candidates to say they're really serious about the issue, willing to go above and beyond what's been done before. I haven't seen any sort of real assessment showing how that could play out, especially as you point out, without Mexico's permission.

Kudos for trying to pull this together. It really is not coherent though, even with the editing. Too much spectacle and clip generating click bait.

Greetings Dean. I watched the current debate and evaluated it after watching it 4 more times in its entirety. I thought Preston's synopsis of key points of their politcally motivated tirades/responses (they need Trump's constituents base to win) was very chronologically coherent, editing was on point and definitely not "click bait". I'm not a "fanboy" of anyone's stack or channel but in my line of work, I show his videos to get the word out about the Ukrainian fight and everyone gets it. Something about Preston's demeanor, relatability, knowledge, service and "the good neighbor next door vibe" relates to the average Merican. To each their own my friend but I don't concur with your assement. SLAVA UKRANI!

I apologize. Preston's review was awesome and spot on. The debate was incoherent and click bait for fund raising. I subscribed to Preston precisely because of his insights and analysis.

Matthew, in my opinion, you care how the debates (like I do) work and we gain some knowledge about each candidate, hence, where they stand on certain issues. That's their whole political platform going forward with the upcoming election. It's not a "crisis" at the border per se just the theory of threat. Do you know how many "illegal" immigrants pay into our system every year to support our GPD without getting anything back in return? It's a good balance right now with Mexico, dont upset the turnip cart.
