1. Israel Moves into Shifa Hospital - Releases Images/Videos

This past week has focused heavily on Israel’s move into the al Shifa hospital in Gaza City which the IDF says sits atop a major Hamas military network. A few weeks ago Israel released CGI showing what they believed to be a significant tunnel network underneath the hospital that served as a Hamas HQ in the city.

After making rather quick progress through Gaza City, the IDF quickly encircled the hospital and in the last few days moved teams inside to begin their search. IDF has now released a few videos showing weapons they uncovered in the hospital as well as what appears to be tunnel running underneath the hospital grounds.

Hamas and the Gaza Health Ministry continue to refute the claims that the hospital was used for any military purposes and say that all evidence provided thus far is fabricated or planted by Israel.

With nearly all the international focus on north Gaza in and around the al Shifa hospital, Israel recently dropped pamphlets in the southern portion of the strip urging residents to evacuate immediately. This suggests that Israel may begin the next phase of their ground offensive in that vicinity in the coming days.
